Description of Classes
Dance Movement~
Students will learn basic dance moves and tumbling while being guided through exploration of movement. We will use hula hopes, cones, scarves, bean bags, rhythm sticks, and more to develop that early love of dance.
These classes are designed for three year olds through five year olds to learn traditional beginning ballet moves, beginning strength and tumbling, or a combination of basic fundamentals for dance. Students will learn beginning arm and feet positions, jumps, and basic barre work (ballet) while still having an opportunity to do some creative movement and basic tumbling.
Level 1 and Level 2 Classes ~
These classes are designed for three to eight year olds with one year or less of dance experience. These classes give students an opportunity to try many different genres and explore several different types of movement.
